Recall that with your Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card you receive up to $300 in statement credits each year of Card Membership for eligible purchases at Marriott Bonvoy hotels.  These purchases can include room rate. Incidental charges (including charges made at restaurants, spas and other establishments within the hotel property) must be charged to your room and paid for with your Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card at checkout in order to be recognized as Marriott Bonvoy purchases. But on a side note, I do not think you need to be staying at the resort to get the credit, read why here.

However, without us really traveling due to Covid-19, Amex has made the credit easier to use.  From June 1, 2020 through August 31, 2020 purchases made at restaurants located in the U.S. on your Bonvoy Brilliant card will qualify toward the total amount of statement credits you can receive as part of the $300 Bonvoy Resort Statement Credit benefit.

Thx Amex!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
