With the acquisition of Virgin America by Alaska Airlines last year, it is not surprising about this change in the Virgin America program. I received word from American Express Membership Rewards that as of November 1, 2017, Virgin America will no longer be a transfer partner of the Membership Rewards program.  This makes sense as Alaska Airlines is not a transfer partner.  So if you have plans to travel on Virgin America before the merger and need some additional miles, make sure you transfer your Amex points soon!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
