As I just posted about, we were put up by American Airlines at the Holiday Inn Express in Chicago because of a flight delay.  We had 2 rooms and one room was pretty bad.  It was dingy. There was an open water bottle in the room, used soap and no towels. To top it off, the TV went on by itself at 2:00 AM.  Luckily, we were only there for about 5 hours.

Rob reached out to IHG the next day to inform them about the conditions of the room.  They apologized and also deposited 5,000 IHG Rewards points into my account.  I know it is not that much, but something is better than nothing.  I hope to use my IHG points at a higher end IHG property (like I did in Vegas) with a hefty redemption, so every little bit helps!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
