NOTE-THE REGULAR OFFER HAS EXPIRED-THE BUSINESS OFFER IS STILL AVAILABLE

The usual sign-up bonus offers for the Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite MasterCard and the CitiBusiness/AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard is 30,000 AAdvantage miles after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.  However, there is currently a limited time offer where Citi is offering sign-up bonuses of 60,000 American AAdvantage miles with a $3,000 spend with the cards.  This is the highest offer that I ever recall seeing for these cards.

You can access the offer for the regular card here.

You can access the offer for the business card here.

With the regular card, you earn 2x miles on all American Airlines purchases and 1x miles on all other purchases.  With the business card, you earn 2x miles on or every $1 you spend on purchases at certain telecommunications, and car rental merchants and gas stations.  You earn 1X miles on all other purchases.
Gas Rewards Credit Cards
There are no foreign transaction fees on purchases with either card.  Both cards allow your first bag checked free for you and up to 4 companions.

As much as I would like 60,000 American AAdvantage Miles, I think I am within the 24 month period of having these cards once before and canceling them.  So even if I got approved, I would not got the bonus points, which to me is one of the main reasons to get the card.  I hope these 60K offers reappear again next year!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
