We took the kids, one June weekend back in 2009, to Niagara Falls.  I had never been there before.  I was so impressed.  The Falls literally took my breath away.  They are incredible!!!

I took this beautiful picture!

The kids loved them too and especially loved all of the activities that center around the Falls.  There is a ton to do, on both, the New York and the Canada sides.  It is a great mini getaway with kids.

When we were not gushing over the Falls, we were staying at our Starwood hotel right on the Falls at the Sheraton On The Falls (SPG Category 4).  We stayed 3 nights at 10,000 Starpoints per night.

I just want to note that based on the low price of the room, economically, we would have been better off just paying for the room instead of using 30,000 Starpoints. However, for my family at that time, it was the only way we were going to take the trip. So for us it was worth it as it was a great 3 days and even if not worth the points in dollars, it was worth the points in experiences and memories!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
