Card Highlights

Capital One Journey Student Card is a Credit Card

With a credit card, you can carry a balance and accrue interest if necessary.  Note this is not advised by me. The points game does not work well, if you are carrying a balance and accruing interest.  See #4 in Let’s Get Started To Earning Free Travel.

Earn Cash Back

Earn CASH BACK with the card.

Annual Fee

No Annual Fee

Earn Cash Back on Spending

You will earn 1% cash back on purchases.

If you pay on time, you will be awarded an extra 0.25% (for a total of 1.25%) cash back earned in each billing cycle if your account is not past due on the last day of the billing cycle.  Once you qualify for the additional cash back, Cap One will apply it to your rewards balance within two billing cycles.

No Foreign Transaction Fees

Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States.

$60 Streaming Subscription Credit

You can earn $5 per month for 12 months on select streaming subscriptions when you pay on time.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
