Learn About The Emirates Skywards Program Here

When you join Emirates Skywards you are a Blue Tier member.  Additionally, the program offers Silver, Gold and Platinum Tier Status.

The requirements for each Tier are as follows:

SILVER-Earn 25,000 Tier Miles or take 25 flights

GOLD-Earn 50,000 Tier Miles or take 50 flights

PLATINUM-Earn 150,000 Tier Miles or more.

How are tier miles calculated?

Tier Miles are calculated at the same rate as Skywards Miles; taking into account the fare you have paid, the route and the class of travel. You can earn Tier Miles on Emirates flights, flydubai flights and codeshare flights marketed by Emirates but operated by another airline. You can use the Miles Calculator to see how much you will earn on a flight.

What flights will qualify to get you closer to higher Tier status?

A ‘qualifying flight’ is a flight from origin to destination, either on Emirates, flydubai or a codeshare flight marketed by Emirates but operated by another airline.

Your origin is the airport where you start your journey, and your destination is the final airport where you complete your journey. So a qualifying flight could be a complete inbound or outbound journey, or a one‑way flight. Stopovers are not counted as a destination.

Note, you can also achieve status with Emirates credit cards.

With the Emirates Skywards Premium World Elite Mastercard, cardmembers get Gold Tier status during the first year of card membership. And, you can maintain your status by spending $40,000 each card membership year.

With the Emirates Skywards World Elite Mastercard, cardmembers get Silver Tier status during the first year of card membership. And you can maintain your status by spending $20,000 each card membership year.

Covid update-Emirates has extended the current tier status of members whose review date is before June 2022 for another 12 months.
