Achieving Ritz Carlton Rewards Elite Status

When you join Ritz Carlton Rewards, you are a “member”.  Additionally, the program offers Silver, Gold, or Platinum Elite Status.  You are entitled to additional privileges and benefits with each level you reach.

The ways to reach Silver, Gold and Platinum Elite Status levels is by acquiring night credits and/or spending $.

1.  The first way is based on your qualifying nights stayed at a Ritz Carlton/Marriott resort.  A qualifying night is any night stayed at a participating hotel and paid for by the member with cash/credit card OR As of  November 1, 2015, you can earn Elite nights credit when you use points for stays.

2.  The second way to achieve Elite Status is by using a Chase Ritz-Carlton Rewards Credit Card.  With the Chase Ritz-Carlton Rewards Credit Card, you’ll get Gold Elite status in the Ritz-Carlton Rewards program your first account year. You can maintain your Gold Elite status by spending $10,000 on purchases your first account year and each account year thereafter. You can achieve Platinum Elite Status if you spend $75,000 on purchases each account year.

So now you know that you can acquire credits by staying or spending.  If you are using the “staying method”, to achieve or renew Elite Membership status, the following number of credits must be acquired between January 1 and December 31 of any given year:

Silver 10 to 49 nights Gold 50 to 74 nights Platinum 75 or more nights

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
