imagesI am currently at Woodloch Pines Resort in PA with my extended family for my parent’s 50th anniversary.  Last night, they had “horse racing”  where you can bet on wood horses that move if their number comes up on a dice. Needless to say, it is a lot of fun for me and the kids, as we root for our horses and collect our occasional winnings,

But you need cash to bet,  And like I have said in the past, I never use cash nor do I often have a lot of cash.  So, I went to the front desk to write a check so I could have the cash to use to bet.  They instead offered to give me cash and just charge the amount to my room.  Um thanks, now I will earn points on this cash,  I don’t think I could get this same “deal” at most other hotels, but I will try if I ever find myself away again and in need of some cold hard cash!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
