1. Fly Air Canada
Earn miles with every Air Canada flight you take.
2. Use one of your American Express Aeroplan Cards
When you use one of your American Express Aeroplan cards you earn from 1-1.5 miles per $1 on all purchases.
3. Use Your TD Bank Aeroplan Visa Signature Card
When you use your TD Bank Aeroplan Visa Signature Card, you earn 2X Aeroplan miles per $1 on all Air Canada purchase and 1X mile per $1 on all other purchases. Read about and apply for the card here.
4. Transfer points from American Express Membership Rewards
If you are a member of American Express Membership Rewards you can transfer your Membership Rewards points, in 1,000-point increments, to your Aeroplan account. At the time of this post, your points transfer at 1:1 value. That means one Membership Rewards point equals one Aeroplan mile.
5. Transfer Marriott Bonvoy Points to your Aeroplan account
Marriott Bonvoy members can transfer 3 Marriott Bonvoy points to receive 1 Aeroplan mile. Whenever you transfer 60,000 points, you get a 15,000 point bonus. So if you have 60,000 points, you can yield 25,000 miles…60,000 becomes 20,000 miles and the extra 15,000 that you get becomes 5,000 airline miles. Transfer your points here to your Aeroplan account.
6. Transfer Miles From Capital One
If you have a Capital One Venture Rewards Card or VentureOne Rewards Card, or on the business side, a Capital One Spark Miles Business Card or Capital One Spark Miles Select Business Card, you can transfer the miles earned on those cards to Aeroplan at a rate of 1:1.
