We work so hard to achieve Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Elite Status and the Mileage Plan program knows that. It even goes as far as to protect this status when we have a baby. The program helps you keep your Elite Status during pregnancy or parental leave. When you are ready to start flying again, you need to…
Step 1-email Alaska Air at [email protected] with your:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Mileage Plan number
- Proof of pregnancy or parental leave – a note from your doctor or employer will do.
Step 2. The airline will verify that you’re eligible and extend your current status through the end of following year of the year you came back.
Note, Only elite members who earned their current status through qualifying travel in the previous calendar year are eligible for Elite Leave. Status granted complimentarily, including gifted and matched status, is not eligible for Elite Leave.
Qualifying types of parental leave include maternity, paternity, and adoption leave.
