In addition to the IHG Rewards program which covers InterContinental hotels and Kimpton as well as some of the lower brands, there is also an InterContinental Ambassador membership. The fee for membership is $200 and comes with an array of elevated benefits.

The fee can be paid via dollars or by 40,000 IHG Rewards points prior to membership expiration via a designated IHG direct channel, including ihg.com, IHG’s central reservations office and IHG Rewards WeChat.

One of the best benefits of membership is the complimentary weekend night. It may be redeemed up to 12 months from the date on which the certificate is issued. It can not be extended and is redeemable once only in conjunction with a minimum two-night paid stay when booking the Ambassador Complimentary Weekend Night’ rate at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and participating Regent Hotels & Resorts.
