Bonvoy Resorts, Restaurants And Gas! Let’s earn 10x Bonvoy points per $1.
If you have an American Express Bonvoy card, you have the opportunity to earn 10x Bonvoy points at Bonvoy Resorts, at restaurants and at gas stations ON UP TO $7500 IN EACH CATEGORY THRU 10/31/2020. No matter what card you have, you need to log in to your Amex account, scroll down in offers and click “ENROLL” for each category (hotels, restaurants, gas) that you will use your card to earn 10x. (I realize that many of us are not traveling right now so checking the offer for hotel stays may be unnecessary-but no downside to just enrolling just in case).
Looking at each card in more detail, for those of you with the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card you normally earn 6 Points per $1 spent at Marriott Bonvoy Resorts and 2 Points for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases.
So for hotels you will earn an additional 4x points per $1, for restaurants and gas (which falls under all other), an additional 8x points once you ENROLL in the offers. This will bring your totals up to 10x earnings in each category.
With the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card, you normally earn 6 Points per $1 spent at Marriott Bonvoy Resorts, 3 Points per $1 spent at U.S. restaurants and 2 Points for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases.
So for hotels you will earn an additional 4x points per $1, for restaurants an additional 7x points and for gas (which falls under all other), an additional 8x points once you ENROLL in the offers. This will bring your totals up to 10x earnings in each category.
With the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card you normally earn 6 Points per $1 spent at Marriott Bonvoy Resorts, 4 Points per $1 at U.S. restaurants and at U.S. gas stations.
So for hotels you will earn an additional 4x points per $1, for restaurants and gas, an additional 6x points once you ENROLL in the offers. This will bring your totals up to 10x earnings in each category.
Don’t forget…the extra points are just on purchases up to $7500 IN EACH CATEGORY though.
Additional Card Members must individually ADD the offer to their Additional Card in their own Amex account. However, the bonus offer is per account and not card so if the additional cardholder adds the offer, the primary member won’t have it available any longer.
