Ways To Use Amtrak Guest Rewards Points To Book Free Travel

1. Use Points For Free Amtrak Travel
You can use points to book Amtrak travel. The number of points needed for Amtrak redemption travel is determined by the number of zones you travel across. For round-trip travel, you must make two one-way redemption reservations.
Starting January 24, 2016, when redeeming points for Amtrak travel, the point cost for the trip will be based on the ticket price. Children ages 2-12 will redeem at 50% of the redemption cost of an adult ticket, when traveling with a full-fare adult (up to two children per adult traveling).
2. Use Points For Coupons & Upgrades
You can use your points for coupons for single day passes to ClubAcela and for One-class upgrades.
3. Use Points For Hotels
You can use your points for Starwood Hotel Stay Certificates and can redeem your points for Choice Privileges points.
