Chase announced a new bonus for grocery spend the other day that begins on November 1.

However, before we look at these offers, consider the card you are currently using for groceries and think about whether it is worth switching for a time.  For example, for those of you with the American Express Gold card, remember, you always earn 4x Amex Membership Rewards points at grocery stores, so if I was you, I would not switch!

If you don’t have a better card for groceries, this is the new offer from Chase.

Chase Sapphire Reserve CardStarting November 1 you can now earn 3x total points on up to $1,000 in grocery store purchases per month from November 1–April 30, 2021, including pickup and eligible grocery store delivery services.

Chase Sapphire Preferred CardStarting November 1 you can now earn 2x total points on up to $1,000 in grocery store purchases per month from November 1–April 30, 2021, including pickup and eligible grocery store delivery services.

It’s automatic—no activation required for the offers on either card.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
