We continue to be bombarded with offers from the banks to help all of us during these challenging times. This time, Chase is coming out again with some offers for additional Ultimate Rewards for various spending categories. None of the offers need to be enrolled in, they are automatic when you use your card. There are additional spending incentives on both the Sapphire Reserve and the Sapphire Preferred cards. One with Instacart and one for gas and one for streaming services.
Chase Sapphire Reserve Card-From July 1 through September 30, 2020:
- You’ll earn a total of 5X points on up to $3,000 spent on all Instacart delivery and pickup orders.
- You will receive up to $50 in statement credits towards an Instacart Express membership (annual ($99) or monthly ($9.99)).
- You’ll earn a total of 5X points on up to $1,500 spent at gas stations.
- You’ll earn a total of 10X points on up to $1,500 spent on streaming services.
Chase Sapphire Preferred Card–From July 1 through September 30, 2020:
- You’ll earn a total of 3X points on up to $3,000 spent on all Instacart delivery and pickup orders.
- You will receive up to $50 in statement credits towards an Instacart Express membership (annual ($50) or monthly ($9.99)).
- You’ll earn a total of 3X points on up to $1,500 spent at gas stations.
- You’ll earn a total of 5X points on up to $1,500 spent on streaming services.
About the $50 statement credit-You get up to $50 in statement credits on an Instacart Express membership through 9/30/20. So you can use this for $50 off a $99 annual membership. Or you can get monthly memberships at $9.99 for free. You get $9.99 for each monthly membership until you reach a total of $50 in credits, so 5 months.
