KTjggXaTqWe know that there are certain cards where you earn bonus points for at gas stations.  In fact, you can learn a lot about these cards here.

However, be careful, if you are traveling overseas, some cards only offer bonus points when you use them at U.S gas stations.  It seems as if American Express rewards you for only gas purchases in the good old USA.  The Amex Everyday Preferred, American Express Business Gold Card, Hilton Honors American Express and the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass card, only offer the gas bonus in U.S gas stations.  The other cards, namely those offered thru Chase and Citi on the gas station bonus list, reward you with bonus points at any gas station.

Use your card at the pump abroad but not your Amex!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
