The Citi ThankYou Prestige card is once again extending the flexibility of the $250 travel credit for 2022.

Recall, one lucrative perk of the Citi ThankYou Prestige Card is the $250 Statement Credit for travel purchases each year. This $250 statement credit is an annual benefit that expires on December 31 each year. But in 2020, Citi allowed this credit to be used at supermarkets and restaurants.  This was slotted to expire first on December 31, 2020, then on December 31, 2021 but it looks like Citi has extended this all the way till 12/31/22.

If you don’t forsee yourself traveling in 2022, it is nice to know you have this option.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
