Complimentary upgrades-depending on your level, you can get flight upgrades prior to your departure. The higher your level is, the earlier you get the upgrade.
SkyMiles Bonuses on flights– General members earn 5 miles per $1 spent on flights but Medallion members earn more. Specifically, Silver members earn 7 miles, Gold members 8 miles, Platinum 9 miles and Diamond members 11 miles per $1 spent. Note, you can earn up to 75,000 miles per ticket. (I want to meet the person that can earn 75,000 miles per ticket!)
Waived baggage fees-The benefit applies to up to 8 travel companions on a Medallion member’s reservation for a total of 9 passengers.
Rollover Medallion Qualification Miles-The Rollover benefit means for example, Medallion Qualification Miles earned in year X above a member’s earned Medallion threshold level for year x will roll over to year y and count toward year z Medallion status qualification.
Priority-Depending on the level, you may get priority check-in, priority boarding, priority security line access and expedited baggage service.
SkyMiles Club Membership-Diamond Medallions receive an individual membership through the end of the qualification year.
Choice Benefits-For Platinum and Diamond members, you can customize your benefits. Diamond members may choose two gifts, Platinum members, one gift. Examples of some of the gifts you can choose from are upgrade certificates, Global Entry vouchers, SkyClub membership upgrades or passes, bonus miles and the ability to gift Medallion status.
