IMG 7706I recently posted that after careful analysis, I decided to cancel Rob’s Business Platinum at the hefty price tag of $595 and you can read why here.

IMG 8146 e1568806836931However, have you ever felt the American Express Platinum or Business Platinum card?  It is made of metal and it is impossible to cut in half or destroy.  I actually googled how to destroy it and some info came back indicating to use a drill torch.  Huh?

Since metal seems to be a new feature of many current cards, most banks give cardmembers the option to request a prepaid envelope to use to return an expired or canceled metal card safely.

Rob ordered his from Amex about 2 weeks ago when he canceled the card, and the envelope finally came yesterday.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
