I recently converted my CitiBusiness/AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard to a No-Fee CitiBusiness ThankYou card because Citi would not waive the fee on the AAdvantage card.

Well, Citi just targeted me with an offer via the mail, to get the card again with a sign-up bonus offer of 50,000 American AAdvantage miles.  The standard offer is for 30,000 miles.

What is hidden in the fine print of the offer, is that I am not eligible for this sign-up bonus if I have had the card in the past 24 months  (Which I have).  I made this mistake once before when I reapplied for a Citi Hilton HHonors card after being fooled by a mailing offering 75,000 Hilton HHonors bonus points.

Not this time!  You can keep your offer Citibank.  Mail it to me again in about 2 years and maybe then, I will reapply.  🙂

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
