Rocketmiles is an online hotel booking site. It has partnered with many frequent traveller programs to offer bonus miles/points to members that book and stay at hotels reserved through the Rocketmiles site.  Amtrak Guest Rewards recently became one of those partners.

Currently, Rocketmiles has a promotion available in which new users will earn an extra 3,000 Amtrak Guest Rewards points on their first completed stay booked on Rocketmiles.  These 3000 bonus points are earned in addition to the reservation reward for the actual hotel stay.  To be eligible for this promotion, the hotel reservation must be booked via the Rocketmiles mobile app with promo code “AMTRAK” OR using this promotional link before 11:59PM CT on 31 August 2015.
