I just got this offer with my Citi/AAdvantage Platinum World Elite MasterCard.

Upon enrollment, you can earn 3X AAdvantage miles on purchases at movie theaters, amusement parks, aquariums/zoos and arena/stadium events through 6/30/2015.  You can earn up to 2,500 AAdvantage bonus miles.

For me, due to this 2,500 bonus mile limit, I will likely not even entertain this offer.  I really can’t do anything with 2,500 miles and I do not want to forgo using my Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite MasterCard or my Chase Sapphire Preferred card, my 2 main cards right now, for a mere 2500 miles.  Also note that these categories mirror the ones in which you earn additional points for if you have and use one of Citi’s ThankYou cards.  But if you are trying to accumulate American AAdvantage miles, then you should take “advantage” of this offer if it is available to you.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
