In fact, IHG Rewards Club members earn (depending on the brand of IHG hotel) five or ten points for every eligible dollar spent at IHG Hotels and Resorts. But what if you are in the market for airline miles instead?
Although the earning capacity for miles on a stay at an IHG property is much less than the earning capacity for IHG Rewards points, IHG has about 50 airline programs in which you can opt to earn miles during your stay instead of IHG Rewards points.
