Unknown 1American Airlines Advantage Miles are very hard to come by.  They are not transfer partners of any of the Flexible Rewards programs as many of the other airlines are (although you can convert Bonvoy points to AA miles).  The main way to earn American Miles is through flying American, or owning and spending on an American Airlines credit card, none of which IMO are worth putting your valuable dollars on.

Enter the Bask Savings Account.  This is a savings account that awards one AAdvantage mile for each dollar saved annually. Miles are accrued daily and awarded monthly based on your average monthly balance. For example, if the account’s average monthly balance for January is $60K, you will earn 5,096 AAdvantage miles for that month ($60K ÷ 365 × 31). If that same balance is maintained in February, you will earn 4,603 AAdvantage® miles.  After one year of maintaining an average balance of $60,000, you will have earned 60,000 AAdvantage miles.

Also, there are no account fees. At this time, you can only earn American miles with the bank.  They don’t have a partnership with any other loyalty program.

Just something to keep in mind if you like American AAdvantage Miles and want to boost your balances.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
