You can earn 1 Starpoint for every dollar you spend with Uber and you can even earn more Starpoints if you use Uber during your Starwood stay.  The chart below shows that during your Starwood stay, Preferred members earn 2 Starpoints per $ spent on Uber, and Gold/Platinum members earn 3 Starpoints per $ spent.  You need to link your SPG and Uber accounts to get the Starwood points.  You can do that here.
