Below, I outline the main ways in which to earn and accumulate Emirates Skywards Miles.

1. Fly

You earn Skywards Miles every time you fly with Emirates, flydubai, and codeshare partners. The number of Miles you earn per flight depends on your route, fare type, and class of travel instead of distance flown. So when you pay a higher price, you will be rewarded with more miles. Note, you do not earn Skywards Miles when you fly on an award flight.

2. Use one of your Barclays Emirates Skywards credit cards

With the Emirates Skywards Premium World Elite Mastercard and the  Emirates Skywards Rewards World Elite Mastercard, you earn 3x Skywards Miles for every USD 1 spent on tickets, goods and services purchased directly from Emirates via emirates.com or at the Emirates Sales office . You earn 2 Skywards Miles for every USD 1 spent on other eligible airfares, hotel stays and car rentals and 1 Skywards Mile for every USD 1 spent on all other purchases.
