Below, I outline the main ways in which to earn and accumulate Icelandair Saga Points.

1. Fly Icelandair

Saga Club members earn Saga Points for all flown Icelandair flights.  The Saga points you earn on a flight are based on the location of your flight to and from Iceland. Flights between Iceland and North America earn more points than flights between Iceland and Europe. It is also based on the type of flight you take: Economy Light, Economy Standard, Economy Flex, Saga Premium, and Saga Premium Flex. You can see the chart that details how many points you earn here.  You also earn Saga Points flying on Air Iceland Connect.

2. Make onboard purchases on Icelandair

Members earn Saga Points and Tier Credits when purchasing products or refreshments on board Icelandair flights, through Saga Shop Collection and Shop Kitchen. You need to present your Saga Card upon purchase.

3. Book a hotel or car through Voyage

Saga Club members earn Saga Points when booking a hotel through Icelandair’s hotel search that is empowered by Voyage and when renting a car through Icelandair’s car rental search empowered by Voyage.
