Below, I outline the main ways in which to earn and accumulate Mileage Plan Miles.

1. Fly Alaska Airlines or an airline partner

You accumulate Mileage Plan miles from taking Alaska Airlines and Partner flights. You earn one mile for every mile flown on Alaska and various amounts on partners. Elite status members earn even more.

2. Use your Bank Of America Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card

When you use your Bank Of America Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card you earn 3 miles per $1 spent directly on Alaska Airlines purchases and 1 miles per $1 spent on all other purchases.

If you do not already have the Bank Of America Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card, you can apply here.

3. Transfer Marriott Bonvoy Points to your Mileage Plan account
