Below, I outline the main ways in which to earn and accumulate Iberia Plus Avios.
1. Fly
You earn Avios for every mile you fly with Iberia or any associated airline. The number of Avios you get with your flights depends on each euro spent, instead of by distance. So for every euro spent, excluding taxes fees and charges, Iberia Plus members will earn between 5 and 8 Avios, depending on their Iberia Plus tier status.
2. Use your Chase Iberia Visa Signature Card
When you use your Chase Iberia Visa Signature Card you earn 3 Avios for every $1 spent on Iberia purchases and 1 Avios for every $1 spent on all other purchases.

3. Transfer points from American Express Membership Rewards
If you are a member of American Express Membership Rewards you can transfer your Membership Rewards points, in 1,000-point increments, to your Iberia Plus account. At the time of this post, your points transfer at 1:1 value. That means 1,000 Membership Rewards point equals 1,000 Avios.
4. Transfer points from Chase Ultimate Rewards
If you are a member of Chase Ultimate Rewards you can transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to your Iberia Plus account. Your points transfer at 1:1 value. That means one Ultimate Rewards point equals one Iberia Plus mile.
5. Transfer Marriott Bonvoy Points to your Iberia Plus account
Marriott Bonvoy members can transfer 3 Marriott/SPG points to receive 1 Avios. Whenever you transfer 60,000 points, you get a 15,000 point bonus. So if you have 60,000 points, you can yield 25,000 miles…60,000 becomes 20,000 miles and the extra 15,000 that you get becomes 5,000 airline miles.
