Below, I outline the main ways in which to earn and accumulate Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Miles
1. Fly Singapore Airlines or one of their partner airlines
This helpful chart shows how many miles you earn based on your booking class of seat and on which airline you are flying (Singapore or a partner airline). You can also use this Miles Calculator to find out how many miles you will earn on your flights.
2. Transfer Points From American Express Membership Rewards
If you are a member of American Express Membership Rewards you can transfer your Membership Rewards points, in 1,000-point increments, to your KrisFlyer Miles account. At the time of this post, 1000 American Express Membership Rewards points equals 1000 KrisFlyer miles.
3. Transfer Points From Chase Ultimate Rewards
If you are a member of Chase Ultimate Rewards you can transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to your KRisFlyer Miles account. Your points transfer at 1:1 value. That means one Ultimate Rewards point equals one KrisFlyer mile.
4. Transfer Points From Citi ThankYou Rewards
If you are a member of Citi Thank You Rewards (holding certain cards) you can transfer your Thank You Rewards points to your KrisFlyer account. At the time of this post, 1000 Citi Thank You Rewards points equal 1000 KrisFlyer Miles.
5. Transfer Miles From Capital One
If you have a Capital One Venture Rewards Card or VentureOne Rewards Card, or a Venture X card, or on the business side, a Capital One Spark Miles Business Card or Capital One Spark Miles Select Business Card, you can transfer the miles earned on those cards to KrisFlyer Miles at a rate of 1:1.
6. Transfer Miles From Marriott Bonvoy
Marriott Bonvoy members can transfer 3 Marriott Bonvoy points to receive 1 KrisFlyer Mile. Whenever you transfer 60,000 points, you get a 15,000 point bonus. So if you have 60,000 points, you can yield 25,000 miles…60,000 becomes 20,000 miles and the extra 15,000 that you get becomes 5,000 airline miles.
7. Earn Miles Spending With non-airline partners
You can get more info about how to earn KrisFlyer Miles with non-airline partners here.
