Below, I outline the main ways in which to earn and accumulate Wyndham Rewards points.

1. Visit a Wyndham Resort and spend $

Earn 10 Wyndham Rewards points per $1 spent or 1,000 points (whichever is more) at Wyndham Resorts and Dolce Hotels and Resorts.

2. Use one of your Wyndham Rewards Cards

With the Wyndham Rewards Earner + Card, members earn 6 points per $1 on Wyndham hotels and on gas, 4 points per $1 spent on dining and grocery purchases excluding at Target and Walmart and 1 point on all other purchases.

With the Wyndham Rewards Earner Card, members earn 5 points per $1 on Wyndham hotels and on gas, 2 points per $1 spent on grocery purchases excluding at Target and Walmart and 1 point on all other purchases.

With the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card, members earn 8 points per $1 on Wyndham hotels and on gas, 5 points per $1 spent on eligible marketing, advertising services, and utilities and 1 point on all other purchases.

These cards are no longer available to new members, but if you have one….with the Wyndham Rewards Visa Signature Card, members earn 5 points for every $1 spent at all Wyndham properties and 2 points for every $1 spent on other purchases.  With the Wyndham Rewards No Fee Visa Signature Card, members earn 3 points for every $1 spent at all Wyndham properties and 2 points for every $1 spent on other purchases.

3. Earn Wyndham Rewards points by spending $ with Wyndham Rewards partners

Earn Wyndham Rewards points at car rental agencies, by joining LifeLock, with EnergyPlus, and by taking surveys.  You can read more about these offers here.

If you have a Capital One Venture Rewards Card or VentureOne Rewards Card, or on the business side, a Capital One Spark Miles Business Card or Capital One Spark Miles Select Business Card, you can transfer the miles earned on those cards to Wyndham Rewards at a rate of 1:1.

5. Transfer Miles From Citi ThankYou

If you have a Citi ThankYou Premier or a Citi ThankYou Prestige, you can transfer your ThankYou points at a rate of 1:1. So 1000 ThankYou points will yield you 1,000 Wyndham Rewards points. If you have a Citi ThankYou Preferred, Citi Rewards+ or a Citi Double Cash Card, you can transfer your ThankYou points at a rate of 5:4. So 1000 ThankYou points will yield you 800 Wyndham Rewards points.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
