Below I outline the main ways to earn and accumulate JetBlue TrueBlue points.

1. Fly JetBlue or a partner airline.

JetBlue currently has 5 fare classes: Blue Basic, Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra and Mint.  With Blue Basic, you earn 1 base point per dollar spent.  With all of the other classes, you earn 3 base points per dollar spent on flights.  Additionally,  if you book the flight on jetblue.com, you earn 1 earn extra bonus point per $1 with Blue Basic and 3 extra bonus points per dollar with the other fare classes.

Note, TrueBlue Mosaic members will earn an additional three (3) TrueBlue points per dollar spent.  But these points do not go into the calculation for Mosaic qualification the following year.

Also earn JetBlue points, booking flights with JetBlue Airline Partners.

2.  Use One Of Your Barlcays Bank JetBlue MasterCards

With your JetBlue Plus MasterCard, you earn 6 points per $1 on JetBlue purchases and 2 points per $1 at restaurants and grocery stores.  With your JetBlue MasterCard, you earn 3 points per $1 on JetBlue purchases and 2 points per $1 at restaurants and grocery stores.  Finally with your JetBlue Business MasterCard, you earn 6 points per $1 on JetBlue purchases and 2 points per $1 at restaurants and office supply stores.  With all of the cards, you earn 1 point per $1 on all other purchases.

3. Transfer points from American Express Membership Rewards

If you are a member of Citi Thank You Rewards you can transfer your Thank You Rewards points to your TrueBlue account. At the time of this post, 1000 Citi Thank You Rewards points equal 800 TrueBlue points if you have a Citi ThankYou Preferred card, but you get a 1:1 ratio if you have a Citi ThankYou Premier card or a Citi ThankYou Prestige card.

5.  Transfer points from Chase Ultimate Rewards

If you are a member of Chase Ultimate Rewards you can transfer your Ultimate Rewards points to your JetBlue TrueBlue account. Your points transfer at 1:1 value. That means one Ultimate Rewards point equals one TrueBlue point.

6. Transfer Marriott Bonvoy Points to your TrueBlue account BUT DON’T DO THIS!

Marriott Bonvoy members can normally transfer 3 Marriott Bonvoy points to receive 1 airline mile. HOWEVER, for some reason, when you transfer points to JetBlue, you must do so at a 6:1 ratio.  I wouldn’t do this, the ratio is terrible!

7. Transfer Miles From Capital One

8.  Shop through the JetBlue TrueBlue Shopping online site

Shopping portals are a great place to rack up extra miles, you earn miles while you shop.

9. Earn TrueBlue points by spending $ with JetBlue partners.

Spend $ at more 20 JetBlue partners and earn TrueBlue points.
