The Rent Day benefit for today, Jan 1, is an Accor Status Match offer. The matched status will be good through December 31, 2025.
You obviously must be an Accor Live Limitless member to take advantage of the match. If you are not a member, you can do that here.
Once you are a member, you can request Accor status in the rewards tab of the Bilt app or website as follows:
Bilt Blue members can activate Accor Silver status.
Bilt Silver Members can activate Accor Silver status, or you can also do Gold status with a transfer of 5,000 Bilt points to your Accor account.
Bilt Gold Members can activate Accor Silver status, or you can also do Gold status with a transfer of 2,000 Bilt points to your Accor account
Bilt Platinum Members can activate Accor Silver status, or you can also do Gold status with a transfer of 2,000 Bilt points to your Accor OR you can also do Accor Platinum status with a transfer of 5,000 Bilt points to your Accor account.
I am a Platinum member. I do not foresee any Accor stays for me this year. So I just activated Silver status as I see no downside. Note that it is not immediate. I am now awaiting an email with a link to complete the status match.
New Bilt Feature-Earn points when purchasing a home-if you are purchasing a home through an eXp Realty agent you can earn 1 Bilt point for every $2 of a home’s purchase price. There is no overall cap on the number of points you can earn on a single home purchase. You can get more details here.
WALGREENS- If you use a card from your Bilt Wallet at Walgreens, you will earn Bilt points. YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE A BILT CARD. You just need to use any card in your Bilt wallet. You will earn 2x per $1 on Walgreens products and 1x per $1 on all other purchases.
Also, know that many of the Rent Day experiences are bookable prior to the first of the month. So make sure you are all opening your Bilt emails, checking your app, etc., to see if these are things you want to take advantage of.
And, as always…
Don’t forget, today you get double points (other than on rent) up to 1,000 points as follows:
1. 3x points on dining-so today you would earn 6x points on dining.
2. 2x points on travel- so today you would earn 4x points on travel
3. 1x point on other things-so today you would earn 2x points on all your other purchases.
Remember, you need to make at least 5 transactions in a statement period to earn the points on the rent.
Also, you can use the Bilt app to search for award availability with Bilt’s hotel and airline partners.
