Have Faith In The System

UnknownAre you a person that balances their checkbook?  I am not.  I am also not a person that makes sure that my rewards earned correlates with my spending.  I mean on occasion, I will check to make sure that I am earning 3X American Express Rewards points on advertising with the American Express Business Gold card and 2X Ultimate Rewards points on dining with my Chase Sapphire Preferred.  But for the most part, I trust the system and believe that I am getting the rewards that I am entitled to.

I have even more faith in the system when I receive a letter like I just did from American Express.  In that letter, they tell me that “we are crediting your account with Membership Rewards points that you earned but did not receive.  Due to a technical error, we were unable to issue these points at the time you earned them.  We apologize for the delay in issuing these to your account.”

Thanks Amex.  I have no idea what points they are talking about but it is nice to know they are on top of things.  Like I said, I have faith in the system and was just reassured that in fact, I can.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
