In addition to the Base Points you earn for your stay, you can also earn Honors Bonus Points or airline/rail miles with one of Hilton’s participating travel partners.  Hilton Honors calls this two different My Way Earning Style Options.

You choose and you can change your earning style at any time,even before every Honors stay.

You can choose

POINTS & POINTS (Honors Base Points + Honors Bonus Points)

Earn 10 Honors Base Points plus 5 Bonus Points per eligible US dollar spent on your room. (For stays at Home2 Suites by Hilton™ hotels, earn 5 Honors Base Points plus 2.5 Bonus Points per eligible US dollar spent on your room.)

OR You can choose

POINTS & MILES (Honors Base Points + airline/rail miles)

Earn 10 Honors Base Points plus 1 mile per eligible US dollar spent on most stays, sometimes the mileage rate is different based on the airline.  (For stays at Home2 Suites by Hilton™ hotels, earn 5 Honors Base Points plus 1 mile per eligible US dollar spent on your room, up to 100 miles per stay.)

Note, if you choose nothing, then you will not get any additional points or airline miles,  Make sure your choose one!
