Hilton Rolling Over All 2020 Elite Nights Because Of Covid

Recall that one of the ways of achieving Hilton Honors elite status is by accumulating nights. For Silver Elite-you need 10 nights earned during any calendar year. For Gold Elite-you need 40 nights earned during any calendar year and for Diamond Elite you need 60 nights earned during any calendar year or earn 120,000 Honors Base Points in a calendar year.

Now, in response to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Hilton announced that it will roll over all 2020 elite qualifying nights to the 2021 status year. This will help Hilton Honors elite members earn or upgrade their elite status level in the 2021 and 2022 status years.
