Now that you know how to achieve World Of Hyatt Elite status, what do you get with this Elite status? Below are SOME of the Discoverist, Explorist, and Globalist Benefits (exceptions may apply at some resorts). In addition, in March of 2019, Hyatt unveiled Milestone Rewards for its elite members. Hyatt described these rewards as “an evolution of member benefits that rewards you sooner and more frequently based on milestones you hit as you travel.” These extra benefits are in addition to the benefits below that you earn with each level of status. And as of Jan 1, 2025, you will be able to select American Airlines AAdvantage Rewards as some of your Milestone Rewards. See those details here.
Earning Points on Stays
Discoverist members-10%, Explorist members – 20% and Globalist members – 30%…
Point bonus on the World Of Hyatt base points earned on their stay and on eligible non-stay charges. (Think Hyatt spas and restaurants)
Room Perks
All members-Save up to 10% with member rates.
All members-premium internet and bottle of water everyday. Get to your room after with an expedited check-in at a dedicated area reserved for elite members. Have resort fees waived when using free night awards.
Globalist members receive complimentary parking on free night awards (available where parking can be charged to your room).
Preferred Rooms
Discoverist members will be offered a preferred (better) room at time of check-in.
Explorist members will receive the best available room (excluding suites and rooms with club lounge access)
Globalist members will receive the best available room including standard suites and rooms with club lounge access
Late checkout
Discoverist and Explorist members can receive a 2:00 PM late checkout on day of departure at most Hyatt properties (upon request).
Globalist members receive a 4:00 PM late checkout on day of departure at most Hyatt properties (upon request).
Access to Hyatt Club Lounges
Explorist members will receive 4 Club lounge passes on eligible rates or when redeeming points for free night awards. These lounges include breakfast daily (and sometimes nightly appetizers)-note there must be a lounge in the hotel for the passes to be used.
Globalist members will receive access to club lounges
Benefit Sharing
Globalist members will be able to share their in-hotel benefits with a Guest of Honor when gifting an eligible award
