I am definitely going to hit Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Status in 2021.
It definitely helped that just like Marriott Bonvoy did in 2020, back in February, they once again deposited into my account 50% of the Elite Night Credits (ENCs) based on my 2020 earned Elite status.
So me, who had achieved Platinum last year because of last year’s boost, got 25 nights deposited into my account. This was in addition to the 15 nights I get per card from having a Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant American Express Card and a Chase Marriott Bonvoy Business Card.
And, I chose 5 elite nights as my annual choice benefit that I got because I was a Platinum member in 2020.
So in summary, I had 25 from the 50% gift, and 30 from the 2 cards, and 5 from my annual choice benefit, bringing me up to 60 to start 2021. Since then, I have stayed 6 nights at Bonvoy properties. My son goes to school in Ithaca, so we have a lot of stays at the Marriott there. And my 17 year old daughter stayed 2 nights at the hotel too with a friend (under my account, I had to fill out a lot of paper work) and those 2 nights were also credited to by Bonvoy account. So, I am currently at 68. I have some more stays planned over the next 6 months and am confident, I will hit Titanium status in 2022.
