IMG 0749As I wrote about, we had a luxurious stay at Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos. Upon checking in, I saw that the hotel was a member of The Leading Hotels Of The World, a hotel program with strict standards about who they let in to this coveted club of high-end and luxurious properties. I asked the front desk to add my Leaders Club number to my reservation and they happily obliged. However, weeks after returning home, I still did not have credit for our 3 night stay in our Junior Suite Villa at my reasonable wedding/summer rate of about 550 per night. I called the hotel…

I learned that in order to earn points on a stay at a Leading Hotel, your Leaders Club account must be activated and associated with the booking prior to your arrival to earn Leaders Club points for that stay. They wouldn’t budge.

Note to self for the future…include your Leaders Club info on your reservation, if I can ever afford to stay in one again. 🙂

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
