I Transferred Marriott Rewards Points With Ease For Our Stay In Park City

Recall that Rob is taking my boys skiing to Park City over MLK weekend and now I am going too! We are staying at the Marriott in Park City. The room was 40,000 Marriott Rewards points per night. At the time of booking, Rob only had 84,000 points in his account. He was able to book the hotel regardless because unlike other hotel rewards programs, Marriott Rewards allows you to book award nights even if you do not have enough points in your account.

To top off his account at 120K, I transferred 36,000 Marriott Rewards points from my account to Rob’s account. Don’t forget, you can transfer up to 50,000 Marriott Rewards points a year to friends and family. The transfer of points was immediate which can be a helpful feature. Compare this with my Starwood points transfer back in June that took 5 days.

Transferring points between accounts can be quite beneficial in redeeming free travel rewards. Thanks Marriott Rewards for making it so easy!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
