The usual sign-up bonus offer for the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select World MasterCard is 50,000 AAdvantage miles after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.  However, there is currently a limited time offer where Citi is offering sign-up bonuses of 75,000 American AAdvantage miles with a $3,500 spend in the first 4 months.  The $99 fee is waived first year.

With the you earn 2x miles all American Airlines purchases, and at restaurants and gas stations.You earn 1X miles on all other purchases.

There are no foreign transaction fees on purchases with either card.  The card allows your first bag checked free for you and up to 4 companions. And you get boarding privileges with Group 1 on domestic American Airlines operated flights.
