The Personal Delta card offers

American Express Delta SkyMiles Gold Card65,000 SKYMILES-Earn 65000 bonus SkyMiles after spending $2,000 in the first 6 months.

About the card… There is a $0 annual fee for the card the first year, then $99. With the card you earn 2 miles per $1 spent on Delta airline tickets and other Delta purchases and 2 miles per $1 at restaurants and supermarkets. You earn 1 mile for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases. You pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States. Primary card members and up to 8 people traveling on the same itinerary can check their first bag free on Delta flights. Primary cardmembers and their companions on the same reservation will board Delta flights prior to general boarding.

American Express Delta SkyMiles Platinum Card85,000 SKYMILES-Earn 85,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 in the first 6 months.

About the card…The $250 fee is NOT waived the first year. You earn 3 miles per $1 spent on Delta airline tickets and other Delta purchases. You earn 3x miles on hotel stays (directly purchased, so no intermediary) and 2x miles at restaurants and supermarkets. You earn 1 mile for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases.

If in any calendar year, if you spend $25,000 or more on the card, you will be awarded 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) and if in that same calendar year you spend $50,000 or more, you will be awarded an additional 10,000 MQMs. The card has a MQD waiver that indicates that the MQDs requirement for Silver, Gold and Platinum status will be waived if you make $25,000 or more in eligible purchases in that year with your card.

You Pay no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States. You get up to $100 as a statement credit every 4 years as reimbursement for the application fee for either program when charged to your Card.
