Rob received a targeted offer in the mail. For every friend that he refers, who gets approved, for the Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card, Rob will get 10,000 Marriott Rewards points. He can refer up to 5 friends for a maximum bonus of 50,000 points.
I am in charge of all of our points. However, I will not pursue people to apply. However, if they come to me for my expertise, as my good friend, J, did, I will happily direct them to this card.
J applied for the card and was approved. J will get 50,000 Marriott Rewards points after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months and the annual fee of $85 is waived the first year. Rob will get 10,000 Marriott Rewards points after J’s first purchase. Its a Win-Win. You can read more about the card here.
This was a good card for J to get right now as she will be staying at a Marriott Resort with her family in both December 2014 and in April 2015. When she uses her card at these Marriott Resorts, she will earn 5 points per dollar spent. Between her bonus and what she spends on these 2 vacations, she should have a nice amount of Marriott points to use for a free trip in the future!
