Kaligo.com is an online hotel booking service similar to Rocketmiles and PointsHound. When you search for hotels on the site (or on their app), you choose your preferred loyalty program for earning rewards. Some of Kaligo’s partner loyalty programs include American Airlines AAdvantage, British Airways Executive Club, United MileagePlus, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles. The number of miles or points you can earn depends on the hotel, your travel dates and the loyalty program you have chosen. Note, that often when you book your hotel stay on one of these third-party websites, you are precluded from earning hotel points on your stay. You would need to do an analysis to determine which method is better for you in terms of point/mile earning potential.
Also, you can book for another and still earn points, vice-versa, someone else can earn the points instead of yourself on any of your bookings.
