The usual sign-up offer for the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer Visa Card is to earn 35,000 MileagePlus BONUS POINTS after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.  But until June 2, 2015, this initial sign-up bonus has increased to 50,000 BONUS POINTS.  There is a $0 Introductory Annual Fee for the card the first year, then $95.

The points that you earn with the card are United MileagePlus points, which you can use for free travel.

Don’t forget, with the card, you earn 2 miles per $1 spent on airline tickets and 1 mile per $1 spent on all other purchases made with your card.  Also you can earn 10,000 bonus miles if you can spend $25,000 in a calendar year on this card and there are no foreign transaction fees.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
