The usual sign-up offer for the Chase IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card is to earn 60,000 BONUS POINTS after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening. But until March 31, 2015, this initial sign-up bonus has increased to 70,000 BONUS POINTS. There is a $0 Introductory Annual Fee for the card the first year, then $49.
The points that you earn are Intercontinental Hotel Group “IHG” Rewards Club points, which you can use for free travel.
Don’t forget, with the card, you earn 5 points per $1 spent at all hotels within the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), 2 points per $1 spent at restaurants, gas and groceries and 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases made with your card. Also you receive 1 free night every year after your cardmember anniversary and there are no foreign transaction fees.
IHG has nine brands with over 4,700 hotels in nearly 100 countries. These brands are as follows: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza, Staybridge Suites, Holiday Inn Resort, Candlewood Suites, Holiday Inn, Hotel Indigo, HUALUXE Hotels and Resorts and IHG is acquiring Kimpton Hotels.
