The usual sign-up offer for the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer Visa Card is to earn 40,000 MileagePlus BONUS MILES after you spend $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.  But for a limited time you can earn 60,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open.

There is a $0 introductory annual fee for the card the first year, then $95.

The points that you earn with the card are United MileagePlus points, which you can use for free travel.

Don’t forget, with the card, you earn 2 miles on United airline tickets, 2 miles at restaurants and hotels and 1 mile for every dollar you spend on all your other purchases. There are no foreign transaction fees when you use your card on purchases made outside the United States. You get up to $100 as a statement credit every 4 years as reimbursement for the application fee for Global Entry or TSA Pre✓fees when charged to your Card.  Primary cardmembers and one companion on the same reservation can each check their first bag free on United-operated flights when purchasing tickets with their Explorer Card. Primary cardmembers and their companions on the same reservation will board United-operated flights after Premier members and prior to general boarding.  Lastly, you get two one-time-use passes each year to the United Club.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
