Learn About The Marriott Bonvoy Program Here

Marriott Bonvoy is joining the party and is extending Bonvoy Status and pausing point expiration as we have seen many other loyalty programs do recently.  Specifically, these are the details…

Status Extension: The status you earned in 2019 will be extended to February 2022.

Points Expiration: Normally, if you are inactive in the program for 24 consecutive months, you will forfeit all of your accumulated Points.  Marriott has stopped the clock on this 24 month period until August 31, 2020. Further, Marriott won’t expire your points if required until February 2021. At that time, your points will only expire if your account has been inactive for at least 24 months.

Reminder about the status of your free nights.

If you currently have a free night award sitting in your account that is expiring in 2020, Marriott has extended the expiration date until January 31, 2021.  This definitely helps me!

If you have any suite night awards in your account that expire at the end of this year, those are extended until December 31, 2021.

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
