We Used Marriott Rewards Points To Book 5 Free Nights on Hawaii And Saved $1,800

On Hawaii, I booked the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.  I booked 5 nights here as well for a total of 140,000 Marriott Rewards points.  The hotel is a Category 7 hotel and the room was 35,000 Marriott Rewards points per night.  When you book using points, you get the 5th night free.  The hotel would have cost about $360 per night.  I saved another $1,800.

Also, I want to point out, that when I originally booked the above hotel, I did not have enough Marriott Rewards points for the above reservation.  I only needed to get them into my account before we traveled.  I have since earned the points on our stay at the Atlantis (an Autograph Collection hotel, so is now part of Marriott) and because I used my Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card at the hotel.  Once I had the points, I ordered the e-certificates for our free stay.  I love this feature of booking through Marriott Rewards!

A huge shout out to CINDY GREENSTEIN, aka The Points Mom, for helping me book our flights to Greece using points. Money wise it would have cost $12k. I learned so much from her! Contact her. You will not be disappointed.
